Aimée van Drimmelen is a self-taught illustrator
and artist who grew up in Saskatchewan and lives in Montreal.
She draws and paints with ink on paper, and on recuperated circular drumskins.
This year Aimée exhibited artwork during Art Pop (Pop Montreal),
the Montreal Highlights Festival, and at Galerie Bjios’ illustration
show “Paper Works.” The Montreal Mirror named her
a Noisemaker for 2008.

Aimée van Drimmelen est une illustratrice
et artiste Montréalaise.
Elle fait les dessins/peintures en encre sur papier, et sur les peaux
de tambour récupérés.
Cette année elle a exposé ses oeuvres pour Art Pop (Pop
Montréal), le Festival Montréal en Lumière, et à
